They followed it up with a 10-0 demolition of Sao Tome and Principe in Agadir. Victory over the Djurtus will put them in good stead to book an early ticket to the biennial African football showpiece.

For Baciro Cande's men, they commenced their campaign on a bright note – demolishing the Falcons and True Parrots Team 5-1 before settling for a 2-2 draw with Sierra Leone in Conakry.
