Wear Mufti In Camp And Get Punished – NYSC Tell Corps Members
The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC has vowed to punish any corps member found wearing casual (mufti) wears in camp.
Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that the warning was issued to corps members dispatched to Gombe State.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the corps, the State Camp Director, Alhassan Ndako, said indiscipline will no longer be tolerated at the camp.
Mako said the management has vowed to deal with corps members who refused to adhere to the warning.
Having congratulated the 2021 Batch ‘C’ Stream I Corps members on a successful swearing-in ceremony, Ndako commended the corps members for “exhibiting a high level of discipline so far” at the camp.
He added: “Corps members must use the kit items issued to them by NYSC Management and must not use anything other than that. Anyone caught would be dealt with.”
Speaking on COVID-19 prevention measures, Ndako advised corps members on misuse of water, sanitiser and liquid hand wash.
Ezenwoko’s Blog understands that the swearing ceremony which took place at the state temporary orientation campground in Amada Akko Local Government Area on Tuesday, comprises 1,176 corps members, including 562 females and 614 males.
In another news, the Kaduna State Command of the Nigerian Police Force has announced the date for Computer Based Test examination for all applicants who had shown interest in joining the force.
In a statement released on Tuesday, October 26, the Command revealed that CBT will commence on Friday, 29th and ended on Saturday, 30th October, 2021, Ezenwoko’s Blog reports.
Designated centres for the screening across the state are revealed as; Dambo International College Barnawa Sardauna Memorial College (SMC) and Iya Abubakar CBT Center, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Ezenwoko’s Blog reports.
