Ghana put behind their poor performance at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon in January, to mount relentless pressure on the Super Eagles in front of thousands of vociferous fans inside the 40,000-capacity stadium in Kumasi.
But the Eagles, following impressive displays from goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, fullback Ola Aina, and centre-back Leon Balogun, held their own to force a draw.
The three-time African champions could have even snatched a late win, but Moses Simon hit his shot straight at the Black Stars goalkeeper when well placed.
