Ghana’s Chief coach, Otto Addo has intimated that the advantage is on their side ahead of the game against Nigeria on Tuesday.

Addo, in a press conference after the draw against Nigeria on Friday said he was delighted with how his players performed and must also prevent the few opportunities they allowed the Super Eagles have in the game.

On the goalless stalemate and what the result means ahead of their trip to Nigeria, Addo said;

“I think the result doesn’t change anything. We want to win. I think the Nigerians saw that we can play as well. They’re not here and we are there.

“Even though the AFCON wasn’t good, I think they got respect. They have high-quality players but in all it was equal. The pressure will be on them at home. The away goals can hurt a lot.”

Nigeria will host Ghana at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium on Tuesday in front of more than 60,000 fans.

Soccernet reported earlier that the Nigerian football authorities has been granted permission to allow the stadium be filled to the brim, similar to what was experienced at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Nigeria need to prevent a score draw on the day to be assured of a World Cup ticket.
