Mixed Reactions Trail Osinbajo’s Cryptic Independence Day Message (Photo)

Reactions from Nigerians on social media have trailed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s 62nd Independence day message.

Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that Osinbajo via his verified social media handle marked Nigeria’s independence anniversary by sharing photos of past Nigerian leaders with the inscription, ‘The Labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain.’

Reacting to the photo message, netizens urged the VP to speak up on major issues threatening the country, particularly the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike that has lingered for more than seven months.

While others saluted the VP, after pointing out the similarity in the inscription on the photo message and the theme of the Labour Party.
