Italian sport administrator tells Napoli ideal price to sell Osimhen

Osimhen has been a center of attraction in Europe, and some top clubs are willing to pay top dollar for his services

Italian administrator Giuseppe Cannella has advised Napoli to sell Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen if they receive an offer of up to €150million.

Osimhen has had a spectacular campaign with Napoli. The Nigerian hitman has been the major lynchpin for the Naples-based club. He has registered 26 goals in 31 appearances, playing a big role in their success in the Serie A.

The 24-year-old striker has turned the heads of some of Europe's big boys, and he may be on his way out by the end of the season.

Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG, and Bayern Munich have all emerged as potential destinations. However, signing Osimhen would not be an easy task, as Napoli would not let him leave on a cheap.

They paid Lille €72million for his services in 2020, and they would be looking to make almost double that from a sale.

Napoli are bracing up for a crucial transfer summer, and they would surely receive a lot of bids for Osimhen.

Cannella, who worked as Sporting director at Salernitana, Modena, and Siena has advised that Napoli let Osimhen leave if they receive an offer of up to €150million.

“In recent years, Napoli have improved a lot with the experiences of the transfer market,” Cannella said per Napoli Magazine.

“The reinforcements have been the right ones, the market is always open, and it is normal that in the event of very important offers, the club will not have to be found unprepared.

“When you have a club that supports you and understands that keeping important players means raising all salaries, it is better to sell and reinforce than anything else. 150 million for Osimhen is very good.

“think of the footballer's entourage who could ask for very high commissions and salaries, he should not be stopped.

The Partenopeans are very close to winning their first Serie A title in over 30 years. But with Osimhen in the team, they have almost sealed the title.

If he eventually wins the Serie A, there is a very high chance that he would leave the club in the summer.
