Former Aston Villa gaffer becomes Iheanacho, Ndidi’s coach at Leicester City

The Foxes have been without a gaffer since Brendan Rodgers was sacked last week, and they seem to have found a replacement 

Former Aston Villa coach Dean Smith has been appointed as Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi’s coach at Leicester City Soccernet.ng reports.

Leicester City sacked Brendan Rodgers after a run of poor results that saw the former Premier League champions swimming in relegation waters.

The Foxes have been with Adam Sandler as caretaker coach since Rodgers left. But they have lost the two games he has taken charge of against Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

Leicester City has been searching for a new coach to take over the coaching job at the club. former Chelsea boss Graham Potter was heavily linked to the job, but a deal did not materialise.

However, the club announced on Monday that they have appointed Smith as head coach of the team.
