Fani-Kayode Reveals People ‘Planning’ Civil War In Nigeria
The former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has revealed people planning to divide Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode in a post on Twitter on Monday accused some foreign forces of planning to divide Nigeria and cause another civil war.
According to Fani-Kayode: “The day Nigerians appreciate the fact that there are foreign powers and forces that seek to divide us and spark off a second civil war in our country will be the day that they would have taken their first step to national redemption. May God help us.”
The West African country experienced its first Civil War between 1967 and 1970, when Biafra, a secessionist state declared its independence from the West African nation in 1967.
Meanwhile, controversial Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi, has warned against declaring bandits as terrorists, adding that the decision will come with a prize.
This is coming after lawmakers in the National Assembly charged President Muhammadu Buhari to declare bandits as terrorists following attacks in the Northern part of the country.
Gumi in a post on his Facebook account noted that the actions of bandits in the Northwest which has seen innocent people killed is tantamount to terrorism.
