Euro wrap: Terem Moffi left with mixed feelings at Nice, Nigerian battle of Brugge ends in stalemate

Soccernet.ng monitored several matches involving Nigerian players in the European circuit and brings you the highlight of the impact

Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi ended the night in celebration as OGC Nice made light work of Ajaccio with a 3-0 triumph at the Allianz Riviera.

Moffi was not among the goals as a second-half brace from Brahimi added to Dante’s early opener was all the home side needed to claim their 10th league win of the campaign.

The Nigerian forward continues his search for his first goal for Nice after joining from Lorient on the last day of the winter transfer window.

He, however, has 12 Ligue 1 goals this term, scored in the colors of his former club.

In Italy, Nigerian full-back Ola Aina watched from the bench as AC Milan edged to a 1-0 win over Torino at the San Siro.

Aina provided the assist to Torino’s winning goal in the defeat of Udinese five days ago but was surprisingly left out of the crunch clash against the champions.

In Belgium, the much-anticipated encounter between champions Club Brugge and high-fliers Union Saint-Gilloise ended in a 1-1 draw as the Nigerian duo of Raphael Onyedika and Victor Boniface went home with a share of the spoils.

Nigerian striker Geoffrey Chinedu scored his first goal for his new side, Radnički Kragujevac but it did not save the struggling Czech club from losing 3-2 at Cukaricki.

25-year-old Chinedu only joined Radnički Kragujevac from Finnish side, Lahti in January.
