Zambia battle Morocco in decisive clash


Zambia and Morocco are getting ready for their final group-stage match of the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 to be played at the Stade de San Pédro today in Group F.

Both teams have maintained unbeaten records so far, with Zambia securing back-to-back draws and Morocco claiming one win and one draw.

In Zambia’s last match, Patson Daka’s 88th-minute header salvaged a point against Tanzania.

While Morocco begun with a convincing 3-0 win over Tanzania, The Atlas Lions encountered a setback with a draw against DR Congo in their second game.

The Group F table remains closely contested, with just three points separating the top and bottom teams.

In their head-to-head record, Morocco holds the advantage with 10 wins in 18 encounters, while Zambia has six victories, and two matches ended in draws.
