“We never recover from una breakfast” – Nigerians react to 2023 AFCON qualifiers draws
Opponents of the Super Eagles for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers were revealed on Tuesday with Nigerians reacting to the teams
The Super Eagles have been drawn alongside Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau and São Tomé and Principe/Mauritius in group A.
In what seemed like a relatively easier group, the Super Eagles have been seen to struggle with similar pairings in the past especially immediately after a big failure.
While some Nigerians back the team to bounce back and pick a slot for the 2023 AFCON, others are not counting their eggs before they are hatched and will rather wait for the team to play.
A swathe of reactions have since trailed the draws and on Twitter, many of them seemed withdrawn, as many Nigerians were yet to forget the failure of the World Cup miss to Ghana.
The Super Eagles currently don’t have a coach with a foreign tactician expected to be named in the days ahead.
This however isn’t enough to boost Nigerians’ confidence going into the qualifiers especially on the back of a sloppy home form by the Nigerians.
See some of the reactions below;
Who is the coach of Eagles? Bright Omokaro or Uche Okechukwu? #NFF not good. Nigerian coaches will kill the national team as they aren’t good. Eguavoen was appointed to undo the hardwork of Rohr under 2 months. 2nd round exit Afcon, lost to Ghana in Qatar2022 play off

We also need recruitment of home based,street based hungry boys seeking for fame n better career in football to bring to limelight.
Naija get talent full street. Let coaches learn to scout for themselves and leave all this political propaganda thing
