It is no longer news that the attackers have hit the headlines with their recent European performance over the last few months, scoring crucial goals for their team.
After suffering a Biceps Femoris injury during his team's 4-1 win against Liverpool, Victor Osimhen has made an amazing return.
Although in their first two domestic league matches before picking up the injury, he scored a few goals. However, his comeback from the injury opened him more scoring opportunities, bringing his Serie A goal total to 12.
Lookman also bagged a brace for his team against Salernitana, which took him to second on the Serie A scoresheet with 3 goals behind Osimhen.
Numerous teams, notably West Ham United, are now actively pursuing Moffi as a result of his exceptional performance in Ligue 1.
However, the Atlanta ‘96 gold medalist has lauded the players in his discussion with Brila FM, saying, “We haven't had it so good in recent years. Nobody will contest this,”
“ (Victor) Osimhen is the hottest striker in Europe and, by extension, in the world. He's doing well now, and I believe he hasn't reached his full potential.
“Lookman has also surpassed expectations. So many of them are doing good at the moment, Terem Moffi as well. Long may it continue.”
