VIDEO: Mr Macaroni Stirs Reactions For Confronting Policemen Who Extorted From Dreadlocked Head
Nigerian comedian and social media sensation, Debo Adedayo better known as Mr Macaroni has stirred reactions after confronting policemen who allegedly extorted from a young man with dreadlocked head.
In the viral video, a young man, yet to be identified was pictured on dreadlocks and a backpack explaining to Mr Macaroni that he was forced to transfer a sum of N30,000 to an account by the officers.
Angered by the actions of the policemen, the comedian could be heard nudging people around to capture the police officers’ identities, whilst calling them out for their unlawful and criminal behavior.
Some of the officers however started pleading with the comedian-turned activist.
According to the source, the event was streamed live on Instagram by Mr Macaroni.
This singular act by the star figure of the #EndSARS movement climaxed with the Lekki Tollgate shootings roused commendation from social users for putting up such a courageous act and confronting the corrupt officers.
