Tinubu’s Ally Speaks On Controversy Around APC PCC List

An ally of the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has revealed why the inauguration of the presidential campaign council (PCC) of the party was postponed.

Ezenwoko’s Blog had earlier reported that the APC indefinitely suspended the inauguration of its campaign council which was earlier fixed for September 28, 2022.

The Director-General of the campaign council, Simon Lalong while giving the reason for the postponement noted that its to allow the party to add more members to the PCC list.

According to Tinubu’s unnamed ally who spoke with Vanguard, the inauguration of the PCC was postponed to resolve the complaints around the list and allow the party to expand the council.

He further stated that there are allegations of differences between the presidential candidate of the party and the National Chairman of the party, Adamu Abdullahi with loyalists of Tinubu alleging that Adamu and members of the National Working Committee want to hijack the PCC.

The ally added, “Officials of the party did not like the fact that Tinubu made James Faleke secretary of the campaign council.

“What most of the NWC wanted is to retain the same position in the campaign council as they are currently holding in the party with Senator Iyiola Omisore being secretary of the PCC.”
