Suspected militias kill two persons, raze houses in Southern Kaduna

Two people in Mawofi village, Atyap Chiefdom in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State have been killed by suspected Fulani militias.

A source, who confirmed the incident to SATURDAY PUNCH, said many houses were also razed down by the attackers who stormed the village in large numbers on Friday night.

He said the attackers move from one village to another in Atyap perpetuating their mission without any authority coming up with proactive measures to avert the situation.

He said, “It is now for the world to see and judge if these attacks are reprisals or purely attacks by the perpetrators to achieve their evil mission. Whatever happens, God is the better judge of all things and will at the appropriate time perfect His will in Atyap land.”
