The Nigerian striker has netted 19 goals in 20 domestic league appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s men.

English Premier League club, Manchester United, moves on with their effort to recruit Victor Osimhen by sending scouts to witness some of his games.

Reports suggest that the Red Devils are keeping an eye on the gifted attacker and have sent scouts to see some of his Serie A matches as well as his club’s Champions League victory against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Meanwhile, according to additional claims, by observing some of his matches, United are evaluating if paying Napoli’s asking price for him is worthwhile.

The Nigerian has played 20 times for the Parthenopeans in the domestic league, scoring 19 goals and dishing out 3 assists. However, He scored a goal at Deutsche Bank Park against the Eagles, to extend his remarkable run all the way to the Champions League.

Following this, seasoned market expert, Fabrizio Romano, stated on his YouTube channel that United scouts are closely monitoring the Nigerian, which may be a good value for their money.

“We know they (Manchester United) always send their Scouts to keep an eye on players to make sure they are the right players for their project, and they have sent their Scouts for many players in this period. We can mention Victor Osimhen because Manchester United Scouts were keeping an eye on the player during the Champions League game with Frankfurt and also in some Serie A games, so Manchester United are following the progress of this boy to understand if he’s worth the money” he said via his YouTube channel.

Previously, La Liga powerhouse, Atlético Madrid, entered the race to sign the 24-year-old by sending scouts to monitor the exciting forward.

With this, Napoli may have a hectic summer transfer window. At one end, they may be preventing any moves for their important attacker, while at the other end, other teams may be breaking the bank to sign the striker.
