The popular multimedia figure in the United Kingdom has urged Arsenal to break the bank for Napoli and Super-Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen.

In a tweet, Piers suggested, since the race for the signature of Declan Rice seems to have been won after Manchester City reportedly pulled out of a hundred million euros bid for the West-Ham midfielder, his preferred signing would be the Super Eagles attacker.

Piers specifically highlighted the need for a world-class striker that guarantees at least twenty five goals in a season, and stated the Nigerian star fits that role perfectly.

“It’s brilliant that Arsenal seem to have won the race to sign @_DeclanRice who will be a monstrously good addition to the team. But if we want to win big trophies, we also need a world-class striker who will score 25+ goals a season. I’d break the bank for @victorosimhen9 #afc” he wrote.

Morgan interviewed Cristiano Ronaldo in November 2022, after the five-time Ballon d’or winner had an outburst with Manchester United, and in a previous interview between the pair, Piers had always made it clear that he wanted Cristiano to join his favourite club side, and even gifted him an Arsenal jersey during the interview.

Arsenal, during this transfer window are getting stacked after securing the services of Kai Havertz from fellow London rivals, Chelsea, and are keen on securing the services of England international, Declan Rice in a record breaking bid.

Should Arsenal decide to sign Osimhen, it will be for a record fee as Napoli are not willing to listen to any offers below €150 million, and it will also break the record for the most fee spent by Arsenal in a transfer window.
