Peter Obi Begged Me To Be Atiku’s Running Mate In 2019, Now His Supporters Are Insulting Me – Omokri
Former presidential media aide during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has called out Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi over the action of his supporters.
According to Omokri, the supporters of the former Anambra State Governor have been insulting him and Obi has just been watching them without taking any action.
He added that the supporters have also been insulting the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.
Omokri in a Twitter post on Wednesday in which he lamented the development also alleged that Obi had lobbied him in 2019 when he wanted to become the running mate to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Taking to the micro-blogging site, he wrote: “In my life, I have never been insulted the way @PeterObi
supporters insult me. Yet, this same Peter lobbied me when he wanted to be Atiku’s running mate in 2019. I supported him over others. Yet, he watches as his people insult Atiku and I. Nobody knows tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, a former UK High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Paul Thomas Arkwright CMG has replied Nigerian Publisher, Omoyele Sowore over his statement on Peter Obi‘s three-day trip to Egypt.
This comes after Sowore, Ezenwoko’s Blog recalls, mocked the former governor for travelling to Egypt to learn how to fix Education and Power problems in three days.
He had tweeted; “Heard @PeterObi travelled to Egypt to learn how to fix Education/Power problems, this is exactly the problem with unprepared candidates. It is 9 months to election & a two-term gov. & former VP candidate want to go learn something from Egypt in 3 days? Wow! #WeCantContinueLikeThis”
Reacting to the tweet, Arkwright, replied Sowore stating that learning from other countries is key to turning round failing performance of a state, adding that not all solutions are home grown.
