An explosion has rocked a gas plant at Efurrun, Uvwie Local Government Council Area of Delta State, causing pandemonium among the residents.

The gas station, identified as the NELMIC gas plant, is located opposite the Effurun post office.

Details as to what led to the explosion are yet unknown as of the time of filling this report.

However, residents have been calling for help to contain the fire outbreak.
