Milan to speed up Chukwueze deal with Italian Golden Boy sale

Italian giants, AC Milan, are looking to accelerate the purchase of hot Serie A star, Samuel Chukwueze, with the sale of Italian starlet Sandro Tonali, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian star has been the talk of the Italian media, having been linked with a move to join the San Siro outfit as his contract with the Yellow Submarine ends in 2024.

Following a report from Relevo, the Rossoneri are looking to secure his services with the proceeds from Sandro Tonali’s sale to English Premier League side, Newcastle United.

Chukwueze’s impressive performance for Quique Setién’s men in the 2022-23 season, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions, has piqued the interest of some top European Clubs who are looking to secure his services.

After losing Tonali, the Milan-based club has made the Nigerian winger the most wanted man on their wish list and will make an effort to work out a deal with Fernando Roig’s team.

Despite the fact that he only has a year left on his contract, the transfer deal is expected to cost about €30 million.

Although, in the coming days, Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool and a host of other might hijack the deal from Milan, if they fail to quickly reach an agreement with his camp.
