Many escape death as truck crashes in Bauchi

A trailer loaded with ginger skidded off the road and crashed at Nahuta in Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State spilling its content on the road.

The incident was said to have occurred Thursday morning with many people escaping death.

An eyewitness, Mu’azu Hardawa, told our correspondent that the truck driver allegedly slept off while driving.

“I learnt that the driver slept off while driving and he lost control.”

He said that the trailer took off with its content from Kafancan in Kaduna State and was heading to Maiduguri, Borno State.

Hardawa said that “No death or serious injury was recorded during the accident.”
