LP gov candidate vows to make Kogi production hub


Kogi State Labour Party governorship candidate, Barrister Adejo Okeme, has promised to turn the state into a production hub if elected in November.

Barrister Okeme made the promise while on his way to the three senatorial districts of the state where he received blessings from all royal fathers.

The LP Publicity Secretary in the state, Idakwo Emmanuel, who spoke in Lokoja on Saturday, said that the governorship candidate of the party is the only candidate that has the support, prayers and backing of both the East, West, and Central zones.
“The leadership qualities of the governorship candidate were displayed during the visits which endeared him to the royal father and was subsequently blessed by all three royal fathers,” he said.
The royal fathers visited include the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr. Ado Ibrahim, the Ohimege Igu of Koton Karfe, and the Atta Igala and the chairman of, the Kogi Council of Traditional Rulers.

He said that his quality as a budget builder was lavishly displayed as he promised to resolve issues to the satisfaction of everyone in the state.

He said, “Labour party is one big family with unstoppable abilities and Barrister Okeme no doubt can turn the fortune of the state around”.
