We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance and Accounts Executive
Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid work model)
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues, assets and liabilities)
- Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by unit)
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
- Forecast costs, revenues and analyze financial trends
- Manage tax payments and organize internal audits
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Minimum of a relevant tertiary degree (Added degree /or certification will be an advantage)
- 2 – 5 years work experience
- Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
- Time-management abilities
- Confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially excel and accounting software
- Excellent interpersonal Skills.
- Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
Salary
N2,400,000 – N3,600,000 Annually.
