CORDELIA EKE APPLAUDS NBA WOMEN FORUM FOR CONSULTATION WITH STAKEHOLDERS.

Former Secretary of ECNBA, Cordelia  Uwuma Eke has lauded the leadership of the NBA Women’s Forum in Rivers State for taking steps to consult stakeholders and seek partnerships in achieving its aims and objectives.  She made this known during a courtesy visit of the Forum to the Rivers State Solicitor-General Mrs. Ibiwari Clapton-Ogolo in Port Harcourt on the 12th of March 2024. Mrs Eke, who is a Mentor of the forum, emphasized the need for women lawyers to collaborate and support one another as they strive to make progress in society.

In her address at the occasion, the Rivers State Lead of the NBAWF Dr. Glory Omonigho Ozuru commended the Solicitor-General of Rivers-State and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice for her impactful welfare activities towards the staff of the Ministry within the short period of her assumption of duty, and commended the State Governor on her appointment, being a seasoned Administrator.

The Solicitor-General General, in her response, commended the leadership of the forum for being comprised of accomplished women, and charged the women Lawyers to always support quality and excellence in their choice of representatives for offices. She counselled them to always put their best foot forward in order to have impactful leadership.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of a plaque to the SG and her decoration as an Honorary member of the Forum by the General-Secretary Irene Ini Pepple.

In attendance were other national officers, branch facilitators, and members of the Forum.
