Arsenal to secure new contract for Premier League’s youngest debutant with Nigerian heritage

London club, Arsenal, are set to renew the contract of their youngest ever Premier League debutant, Ethan Chidiebere Nwanneri, Ezenwoko’s blog.ng reports.
Chidiebere, who made his debut for the Gunners last year in the game against Brentford, becoming the youngest-ever player to do so in the English top-flight, is set to sign a new deal with the Reds according to Fabrizio Romano.
Fabrizio mentioned Arsenal are looking to keep the youngster as a part of their future project.

This news comes as a relief to Arsenal fans and the team in general after the midfielder was linked with a move to Chelsea a few weeks back, with Manchester City also lurking, should any chances surface.
With this new deal, Arsenal will look to ward off any interest in the midfielder and will allow him to focus on his craft, his development and his future at the Emirates Stadium.
]Arsenal have produced amazing talents from the Hale End academy in recent years with the likes of Emiliano Martínez, Bukayo Saka, and Emile Smith-Rowe as perfect role models for Nwanneri to follow in their footsteps.
The attacking midfielder was born in London, England, but is of Nigerian descent. He has represented England at the U-17 level, but a switch of allegiance to the Nigerian team is not out of possibility.
The midfielder will look to get as many minutes as possible with Arsenal’s pre-season tour in the United States of America.
