#AnambraDecides2021: Soludo Of APGA Extends Lead To 10 LGAs

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the 2021 Anambra governorship election, Prof Charles Soludo has extended his lead to 10 local government areas.

So far, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced results from eleven out of twenty-one local government areas and Soludo has won all but one.

The candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Senator Ifeanyi Ubah won Nnewi North local government area while both Senator Andy Ubah of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are yet to win any local government of the results so far declared as at press time.

For Nnewi North, YPP polled 6,485 votes APGA had 3,368 votes, PDP scored 1511 votes, while APC polled 1278 votes.

Earlier, Ezenwoko’s Blog had reported that Soludo is in a leading position based on results from seven local government areas in the Anambra State governorship election.

The local government areas where Soludo has earned victory are Onitsha South, Orumba South, Anaocha, Anambra East, Akwa South, Njikoka, and Aguata.

But the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has now added three more local governments to his victory list.
