Transfers: Forest willing to listen to offers for Super Eagles forward amidst interest from Leeds United
Emmanuel Dennis has struggled for form and game time since joining Nottingham Forest last year
Nottingham Forest are ready to allow Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Dennis, to leave the club this summer amid interest from Leeds United, Soccernet.ng reports
Dennis had a tough outing last season, and according to Football Insider, Forest are open to letting him leave just 12 months after signing him from Watford.
The Premier League club are also working on reducing their large Squad for the coming season, giving the club an option to cash in on him this summer.
He arrived at Forest for £25m last summer following their promotion to the Premier League.
However, the 25-year-old days at the City Ground could be coming to an end in the coming weeks if a deal can be agreed between Forest and United
Leeds United are set to lose a lot of players following their relegation from the Premier League, which is another reason why they are weighing up a deal for the Nigeria International.
The 25-year-old impressed in his first season in England after notching 10 goals and 6 assists for Watford but has struggled to recapture that form in a Nottingham Forest shirt.
There was a lot of optimism among the Forest fans last year following Dennis’ arrival, but he has struggled for form and game time in Steve Cooper’s side.
He managed just two goals and three assists in 25 appearances for the club last season, with just only nine of the outings coming as part of the starting line-up.
With Forest now willing to sell, Leeds are exploring a deal for the Super Eagles forward.
