Super Eagles stars Omeruo and William Troost-Ekong vibe to Davido's Timeless album
The Nigerian megastar just launched a new album after taking a sabbatical from social media
Kenneth Omeruo and William Troost-Ekong, members of the Super Eagles, have expressed their continued admiration for David Adeleke's music as they vibe to his most recent album, “Timeless.”
Omeruo, who led José Peseiro's team to a victory against Guinea-Bissau in the second leg of their doubleheader match, expressed his enthusiasm for the album.
The vice-captain of Nigeria's national team, who is presently with US Salernitana 1919, was unable to contain his excitement for the new record.
The Nigerian singer, better known as Davido, took a vacation from the spotlight to cope with the devastating death of his son Ifeanyi, who was only three years old.
The 30-year-old musician has returned after almost six months away, with the exception of a performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony, and has launched a new album, declaring that he is recovering and poised to move on with life.
Since he started making music 11 years ago, Davido has released four studio albums, the latest of which is the 17-track “Timeless” album. He claims that the title is an expression of his desire for the album to be remembered as a classic for many years.
Omeruo, the defender of CD Leganés, however, showed his support for Davido by posting a picture of the Timeless album on his Instagram story and writing; “@davido Congratulations! I feel it.”
On his side, the Watford FC loanee also posted an image from the “Timeless” album along with the emojis “mind-blowing,” “Nigeria,” and “medal.”
Although he was still healing from his injury, Troost-Ekong was unable to play against Guinea-Bissau. He had anticipated making an appearance for the Nigerian national team in the final AFCON qualifying matches against Sierra Leone and São Tomé and Príncipe.
