AFCON Qualifiers: Guinea-Bissau coach names Mane and Mendy in 25-man roster to face Nigeria
The Djurtus and the Nigerian Super Eagles are scheduled to face off on March 24 and 27 of 2023
The head coach of Guinea-Bissau, Baciro Cande, has announced his 25-man roster ahead of the two-game qualifying series against Nigeria for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
In ten days, the opening leg of the match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and their West African neighbours is scheduled to take place as the AFCON qualification campaign resumes.
The 55-year-old boss announced his player list in advance of the game, which includes Sori Mane, a defensive midfielder for Moreirense F.C., and Prosper Mendy, a left defender for the Kazakh club Kaisar who was born in France.

The African Wild Dogs are thus anticipated to square off against José Peseiro’s team on March 24 at Abuja’s Moshood Abiola Stadium.
However, the Super Eagles will travel to Guinea-Bissau on March 27 to take part in a match at the Nacional 24 de Setembro Stadium.
