Victor Osimhen’s eight-game scoring run for Napoli came to a painful halt after they lost 1-0 to Lazio at the Diego Amando Maradona Stadium.

Super Eagles striker Osimhen was looking to score his ninth consecutive goal for Napoli when they welcomed Lazio to Naples. Osimhen failed to score against the Biancocelesti in their last two meetings, and he was also looking to change that.

Napoli dominated the first half, bossed possession and created more chances. But they failed to score. Osimhen put in a decent shift in attack and defensively.
