Yorubas Have Plans For Terrorists In South-West – Gani Adams

The Aare shared his grievances on Tuesday via a statement by his spokesman, Kehinde Aderemi.

Gani insisted that efforts were being made to forestall a repeat of the June 5 massacre.

He stated that security outfits such as the Southwest Security Stakeholders Group (SSSG), comprising the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) and others have been tasked to resist all attacks.

He subsequently warned the terrorists to stop testing the patience of the Yorubas as they would no longer condole any further attack.

Adams said the incident remained the most devastating experience of terrorism in Yoruba modern history.

The chief recalled issuing a statement to console the king and the people, reiterating his support to make the town safe.

More than 40 worshippers had died after gunmen opened fire at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.

The federal government had blamed the Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP) for the terror attack.
