‘Voting For Peter Obi Is A Waste’: Apostle Madubuko Reminds Ekweremadu Of Yam Festival Fight

Apostle Anselm Madubuko, the general overseer of Revival Assembly church, has reacted to former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu’s claims that voting Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi is a waste of vote.

Recall that Naija news earlier reported that Ekweremadu while acknowledging that Peter Obi is a credible candidate and “their son”, had said that the South-East needs to be dynamic and pick the side of a candidate that can win the presidential election.

Reacting to this, Madubuko stated that “it will soon be time for another new yam festival ol boy”, in reference to Ekweremadu being beaten up in Germany after he turned up for a New Yam Festival he was invited for in 2019.

Meanwhile, the former governor and 2023 presidential candidate on the platform of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has met with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Wednesday in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

There have been speculations that the Rivers governor is plotting an exit from the Peoples Democratic Party since former Vice President Atiku Abubakar decided to pick the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate. Read more
