No fewer than twenty personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC have been reportedly killed in Zamfara State.
Reports reaching Ezenwoko’s Blog today has it that the security operatives were murdered and their corpses set ablaze in Shinkafi Local Government Area of the State.
The deadly sects reportedly attacked the security operatives dispatched to a village where they (the terrorists) have dominated for a long time without any security stoppage.
The Presidency has described as ridiculous, a report that President Muhammadu Buhari escaped a plane crash after the Presidential Jet developed a mechanical fault.

Former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has welcomed media mogul, Chief Dele Momodu back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Saraki in a post on his official Facebook page on Friday said Momodu has been on sabbatical from partisan politics but now that he has returned, he hopes to work with him to rebuild the PDP and meet the aspiration of Nigerians.

The suspended National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus, has been described by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike as an enemy of the party.
Wike while reacting to the appeal court ruling on secondus’ move to halt the convention of the party, noted that no individual can stop the main opposition party from its mission to rescue Nigeria.
The Governor’s Special Assistant on Media, Kevin Ebiri, quoted Wike as saying that Secondus’ attempt to scuttle the PDP national convention makes him an enemy of the party.

But in a judgement delivered on the suit by a three-member panel, Justice Gabriel Kolawale said the court unanimously dismissed the application for lacking in merit.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has refuted media reports that its operatives invaded the Abuja home of Supreme Court Judge, Justice Mary Odili.

The operatives were said to have gone to the judge’s home to execute a search warrant as part of investigations into her husband, Peter Odili, who is a former Governor of Rivers State.
Some sections of the media reported that the raid was carried out by EFCC operatives but in a statement by its spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, the anti-graft agency described the raid reports by its operatives as false as it did not carry out any operation at the home of Justice Odili.
