Scores of travellers along Damaturu/Maiduguri Highway in Borno State have been reportedly abducted by the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters.

Ezenwoko’s Blog gathered that the passengers, who were travelling to Maiduguri, were kidnapped close to Benishiek town on Saturday morning.

A source told SaharaReporters that the passengers were ambushed by the terrorists and whisked away to an unknown destination.

Former Governor of Osun State Bisi Akande has claimed that Pa Ayo Adebanjo begged Bola Ahmed Tinubu to build his house in Lekki, Lagos State.

Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that Akande made the disclosure in his 559-page autobiography titled “My Participations,” launched in Lagos on Thursday.

The APC pioneer Interim National Chairman added that Tinubu accepted to help Adebanjo build his Lagos home after he had given him the land Certificate of Occupancy.

Akande, however, described Adebanjo as a blank politically-minded leader who does not have what it takes to run for any public office in the country.

Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State has blamed the Nigerian military for the influx and heightened attacks of bandit terrorists in the northwest state.

Speaking to a high-powered delegation from President Muhammadu Buhari, Tambuwal claimed that bandits attacking and killing people in his state are those dislodged from Zamfara by the military.

According to the Sokoto governor, the rise in attacks is due to the Operation Hadarin Daji, a military exercise in Zamfara.

While lamenting the lack of equipment for the military, Tambuwal stated that there is a need for more personnel to be deployed to the state.

Former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the gruesome killing of one Reverend Dauda Bature of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in Kaduna State.

The lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the 8th National Assembly said in a post on his verified Facebook page on Saturday, December 11, that Nigerians now lives at the mercy of bandit terrorists.

President Muhammadu Buhari is reportedly set to depart the country for Turkey on December 15, 2021.

Katsina Deputy Speaker’s younger sister, Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki has escaped from her abductor’s den after spending 105 days in captivity.

The lawmaker while confirming the development disclosed that she escaped during an attack on the bandits’ den by military officers.

Bandit terrorists had abducted Asma’u Dalhatu on September 4, when they invaded Tafoki village in Faskari local government area of Katsina state.

It was gathered that the terrorist attacked the town around 1 am and headed straight to the village head’s residence, which is the family house of the Dalhatus.

Troops of the Nigerian Army on Saturday repelled terrorists’ attack on Sabon Tasha GRA in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Ezenwoko’s Blog learned that the troops engaged the bandits in a gun duel which lasted for an hour after the gunmen had invaded the community around 12:30 am.

The troops successfully repelled the attack and chased the terrorists into a nearby bush.

Before the troops’ intervention, the bandits had initially set a house on fire after failing to abduct the owner.

The former interim National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari asked Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to be his running mate but disappointed the APC leader after getting the party’s ticket.

Akande who made the revelation in a section of his autobiography titled “My Participations” which was launched in Lagos on Thursday said Buhari had approached Tinubu to be his running mate before he got the APC presidential ticket.

He however added that upon getting the ticket, Buhari disappointed Tinubu by reneging on his promise to make him his running mate.

The former Osun State Governor said the meeting where Buhari promised Tinubu the Vice Presidency slot took place in 2014 in Buhari’s private lobby.

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has berated the state of the nation under the All Progressive Congress, APC, government led by President Muhammadu Buhari.

International carrier, Emirates Airline has disclosed that flight operations between Dubai and Nigeria have been suspended.

In a travel notice on its website on Friday, the Airline said the stoppage of its flight operations in Nigeria will commence on Monday, December 13, until further notice.

This development comes a day after the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) restricted Emirates’ flight operations into the country due to the new issue bordering on the Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA).
