Terrorists Release Another Video As Abducted Train Passengers Appeal To Buhari Govt

Terrorists who kidnapped over 60 passengers on an Abuja-Kaduna train have released a fresh hostage video showing their victims.

Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that the insurgents attacked the Kaduna-bound train on March 28 and killed at least eight persons during the attack.

Recall that the terrorists had in a video demanded the release of their children kept in a facility in Yola before they could begin negotiation for the release of the abducted train passengers.

In a new video seen on Wednesday, the terrorists displayed six abducted passengers, including a Pakistani.

One of the terrorists who wore a military uniform was seen standing behind the abductees in the new video obtained by Arise News.

Some of the captives were seen appealing to the Muhammadu Buhari-led government to come to their rescue before it is too late.

One of the captives who identified himself as a Pakistan national appealed to the Nigerian government to meet the kidnappers’ demands so they could be freed.

He said: “My name is Mohammed, I’m working here in Nigeria, but a foreign national, a Pakistani. We were abducted from the Abuja-Kaduna train on 28 March. We are here; 62 in number.

“The conditions are not very good. I am appealing to the government of Nigeria; the government of Pakistan and the international community to help us.”

Another female kidnapped victim begged the government to come to their rescue, adding that she is in captivity alongside her family.

She said: “We are pleading with anybody who is in any position to assist us to please come to our aid — and give our abductors their demand so they can let us go. I’m here with my entire family.”
