Super Eagles star returns to training after injury layoff
The Nigeria international has been out of action for over three months, but he has made a vital step as he strives to be fit again
Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has returned to training. The forward was pictured on the Hornets training ground doing a light training routine.
The Watford star tore his quad muscle in Watford’s 1-1 draw against Newcastle at the end of September, and this ensured that he had to undergo surgery to rectify his injury.
The former Nigeria youth international has been undergoing rehabilitation at Vicarage road. Before now, the former youth international had been only involved in gym routines.
However, via Watford’s Twitter handle, the Hornets announced that the Nigerian midfielder has now returned to the pitch and has started light training.

Nevertheless, the 26-year-old is still a major doubt for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, as he was initially ruled out for four to five months, but he has only spent a little over three months.
