Reactions As Jonathan Reveals Position On Contesting 2023 Presidency

Several reactions have trailed former President Goodluck Jonathan’s position on joining the 2023 presidential race.

Ezenwoko’s Blog earlier reported that some demonstrators stormed the former president’s private office in Abuja on Friday to demand he declares for the 2023 presidency.

The supporters including women and youths came with posters stormed his office bearing inscriptions such as “Goodluck Jonathan, you must run”, “We need you to restore Nigeria.”

Addressing the well-wishers and supporters, Jonathan urged them to just watch as things unfold ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The former president, however, stated that he can’t tell them if he would be declaring or not for the 2023 presidential race yet.

Following the development, some Nigerians took to Twitter to list the achievements recorded during the Jonathan administration, saying the clamour for his return is justifiable.

While others slammed the demonstrators who are clamouring for the former president to contest and come back to Aso Rock.
