Police Recruitment: Ogun Command Releases Important Update For Shortlisted Candidates

The Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, has released an update to candidates shortlisted for recruitment into the state forces

The Police Command in a statement released on Tuesday evening called the attention of indigenes of the state who took part in the 2020 recruitment exercise that “the Nigeria Police Force, in collaboration with the Police Service Commission, will be concluding the exercise nationwide with Computer-Based Test for shortlisted candidates.”

The statement released to the public domain by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, explained that the computer-based test would commence on Friday, October 29 and come to an end on Saturday, October 30.

The exercise, Ezenwoko's Blog understands will kick off at 8:00 am daily at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

“Given this, all candidates who applied and attended the physical exercise last year 2020 are advised to visit the on www.policerecruitment.gov.ng and print the CBT examination slip, if qualified for the next stage of the exercise, on or before 28th of October, 2021,” Oyeyemi noted in the press release.

The state police mouthpiece added that the Ogun Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, while wishing the candidates success, warned them against falling victim to job scammers, saying “the recruitment exercise is absolutely free and devoid of any financial obligation on the part of the candidates.”

In another news, a man allegedly under house arrest has begged police officers to take him back to prison so he can avoid his wife.

Ezenwoko's Blog reports that the 30-year-old Albanian man went to the police station over the weekend to appeal that he gets imprisoned again, Italian media reports.

The man revealed that he could no longer stay in the same house with his wife and begged that his request be considered.
