Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will miss France World Cup qualifiers due to a groin injury.
The 28-year-old suffered a groin injury in training on Monday, according to the French Football Federation.
Pogba has been replaced in the squad by AS Roma’s Jordan Veretout. The midfielder left the Monday’s training session with team doctor Franck Le Gall.
“Paul Pogba is forced to withdraw from France’s next two games at the Parc des Princes against Kazakhstan and against Finland in Helsinki,” a statement from the French football federation read.
Pogba will miss his country’s match against Kazakhstan on Saturday and Finland’s match on November 16.
He has also been ruled out of United’s Premier League clash with Watford on November 20 due to a red card.
