Peter Obi’s Camp Reacts To Alleged Planned Assassination Attempt On Him

Emeka Obasi, the media aide to Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has reacted to allegations from the spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress, APC, Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, claiming that his principal is planning a fake assassination attempt on himself in a bid to soil the image of the APC.

Recall that Ezenwoko’s Blog earlier reported that Keyamo accused Obi of circulating a hate-filled video online to soil the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

However, reacting to the allegations, Obi’s image maker said he was surprised at the allegations.

He wondered what his principal and the LP would gain from making up a fake assassination attempt.

Obasi questioned if the APC was planning to make the attempt and blame the former governor of Anambra state for their actions.

He said; “It is a fallacy! You media people should also know when you see something fallacious. Does Peter looks like someone who pretends or fakes things? What do we gain to start faking assassination attempt? Are they in anyway trying to carry out such attempt and seeking on blaming Obi for it? The public deserves to know and that’s what we should put up in the press.

“Does Keyamo knows more than we know and just using this opportunity to cry wolf? What is his plan for uttering this kind of stupid statement? Does he think Obi is part of the Old Order who are always desperate for power? Whenever he says ‘Go and verify’, does it look like scheming?”

Speaking further, Obasi said that they are aware of the things Keyamo has done in the past, hence his accusations. However he insisted that an assassination attempt was a terrible thing to come up with.
