Only Yar’Adua Has Ever Done What I Did – Peter Obi Speaks On Investing State Funds Into His Family Business (Video)

Labor Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has spoken on allegations of investing state funds into his personal business while he was the governor of Anambra State.

The former governor, during a radio interview with Rufai Oseni, debunked claims that he stole from the coffers of Anambra state government.

According to him, he had the opportunity to take money while he was in power but he refused.

He noted that he left 100 billion naira in the government account and never borrowed a dime, adding that nobody in power has ever been able to achieve this feat except former president Musa Yar’Adua.

Obi insisted that if it were in the UK the queen would have given him an award for leaving such a huge amount of money while leaving power.
