Okotie Mocked For Begging Tinubu, Atiku, Obi To Step Down For Him

The founder of Household of God Church, Reverend Chris Okotie, has been mocked for appealing to the major presidential candidates to step down for him.

Ezenwoko’s Blog earlier reported that Okotie had on Sunday called on the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and that of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, to step down for him to become the next President in 2023.

The former presidential aspirant expressed his desire to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari at the end of his tenure in 2023.

The cleric called on President Buhari to hand over to him, describing himself as the right person to solve the challenges rocking Nigeria.

Okotie made this call while addressing newsmen at his Church, Oregun, Ikeja when celebrating his 63rd birthday anniversary.

Reacting to the statement, some Nigerians took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to mock the pastor for asking leading presidential candidates to withdraw from the race for him.
