‘Nnamdi Kanu Is Shining In Buhari's Prison' – Adamu Garba – [Photos]
Former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has said that the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu is shining despite being a ‘prisoner'.
Ezenwoko's Blog reports that Kanu on Thursday, was brought to the Federal High Court in Abuja amidst tight security.
The IPOB leader was brought to the Court in a black Sports Utility Vehicles at about 8 am today to continue his trial before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Recall that the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice has on behalf of the federal government, filed a seven-count amended charge against Nnamdi Kanu.
However, Nnamdi Kanu's case was after hearing today, adjourned to November 10, 2021.
Ezenwoko's Blog reports that Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Nnamdi Kanu's lead counsel, had asked the court to transfer him from the custody of the DSS to Kuje prison, but Binta Nyako, the judge, refused the application.
Nnamdi Kanu was driven away by the DSS from the courtroom, and he will remain in their custody until the next hearing date.
Reacting to Kanu's appearance today, All Progressive Congress, APC member, Garba said mockingly that President Muhammadu is taking good care of the Biafra agitator.
“Buhari knows how to handle and care for his prisoners. See how Mr. Kanu is shining”, Garba wrote on his social media page.

Meanwhile, the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has listed two conditions that must be met before it can enter into negotiations or deliberations with the government, Ezenwoko's Blog reports.
