Nigerian Military Bombs Bandits’ Leader To Death During Wedding Feast
Bomb strikes from the Nigerian Military have eliminated scores of bandits operating in the Katsina State area.
Ezenwoko’s Blog gathered that the airstrikes were carried out by fighter jets of the Nigerian Airforce (NAF) during a wedding feast organized for one of Katsina top bandit leaders and one notorious bandit leader identified as Sule was one of those killed during the strike.
According to information made available by PR Nigeria, Sule is a brother to Lalbi Ginshima, also a top bandit leader.
The airstrike against the bandits took place at Unguwar Adam Village in Dan Musa Local Government Area of Katsina State.
A top military officer quoted by PRNigeria said the troops gained credible intelligence information that the bandit terrorists had moved from Dan Alikima to Unguwar Adam for the wedding of one of their key leaders.
Based on this, a reconnaissance mission was carried out after which a fighter jet was scrambled to bomb the bandit terrorist while they were having merry.
“As such, the Air Component dispatched an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft to monitor activities at the location.
“The aircraft later confirmed the intel to be accurate having sighted over fifty (50) of the bandits indulging in the festivities.
“Consequently, situation report was relayed and a NAF aircraft was scrambled by to undertake the mission,” the source said.
He added that “On arrival, the aircraft observed over fifty (50) bandit-terrorists and engaged them with rockets and cannons in successive passes.”
A local source confirmed that as many as 27 bandits were killed during the airstrike while others escaped with various degree of injuries.
“The terrorists suffered heavy casualties as many as 27 were decimated while others sustained various degree of injuries. Among those killed include bandit leader Sule who is brother to major bandit Lalbi Ginshima,” the source stated.
