Nigerian Man Returns $2,397 Wrongly Credited To His Account
A Nigerian man identified as Abideen Olasupo has returned the sum of $2,397 which was mistakenly credited to his account by his client.
Mr Olasupo who is also a 2018 alumnus of the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) entrepreneurship programme alerted his client when he found out about the mistake.
The foundation said in an Instagram post on Monday that Mr Olasupo proved one of the character of a TEF entrepreneur which is integrity.
Explaining further, the TEF said of the 2018 alumnus, “He was mistakenly credited the sum of $2,397 by his client and he quickly called and alerted them, and returned the money in full.
“This has earned him recognition from various notable organisations and media platforms.”
According to his Instagram profile, Olasupo is also an alumnus of HBS Online and Lagos Business School.
Meanwhile, another man has dragged his aged mother to court over the property his late father left behind.
A Twitter user identified as OnyedikaAnambra revealed that a childhood friend carried out the shocking act.
He said the young man was claiming ownership over a building his father left behind in Onitsha.
‘’I Just heard that a childhood friend has dragged his mum to court over his late father’s property.
“The Efulefu claiming Right of ownership when the mother is still alive .
“Make we no born nonsense for this life.’’
The man also revealed that the mother of the young man gave him N5m after NYSC to start up a business but blew the money away instead.
