Mbappe Set To Leave PSG In January

French International, Kylian Mbappe, due to a cold relationship in recent weeks appears to be interested in leaving Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

According to reports coming out of France, the 23-year-old’s relationship with the Ligue 1 champions is “completely broken” and wants to quit the club by January.

Mbappe who signed a new contract with PSG worth £ 650,000 a week in the summer turned down Real Madrid in order to stay with the French giants.

PSG have agreed to work on Mbappe’s exit under certain circumstances, including that a move to the Bernabeu be nullified, a publication claims.

The Spanish newspaper, Marca, reported that Mbappe informed PSG in July that he wanted to leave due to intense interest from Real Madrid, who made a summer bid of £154 million for the 23-year-old before he chose to sign a new contract with PSG instead.

However, Marca has now asserted that if Mbappe does depart at this time, PSG will not consider any offer from Los Blancos, leaving Liverpool as one of his only workable options.

Mbappe is regarded as one of the best players in the world, and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has previously expressed interest in him. However, the financial commitment could make a deal with the Reds difficult.

Mbappe who posted an Instagram story that included a picture of himself in action accompanied by ‘#pivotgang’ has notably felt frustrated with Christophe Galtier’s attacking system, and has publicly explained that he prefers playing in a two-man system alongside a pivot, like he does with Olivier Giroud in the national team.

Mbappe posted an Instagram story that included a picture of himself in action accompanied by ‘#pivotgang’ in a dig at the way in which Galtier had used him.

L’Equipe claims that the deal Mbappe signed is only for two years, with the third year being an optional extension at the French international’s discretion.

The attacker will enter the final 12 months of his contract with PSG at the conclusion of this year.
