We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Communications and Content Specialist

Location: Lagos
Essential Duties / Key Job Roles and Responsibilities
Include but not limited to the following:
- Generate content for the website and annual report – research and compile news stories and relevant information about the School and Faculty.
- Prepare and issue news releases about achievements, programmes, and major school events.
- Create Content and ensure Faculty footprint in the media by sourcing interviews and opinions for editorials, articles etc. – Present academic information in a reader friendly manner.
- Build and manage media relationships to foster a positive brand perception and build thought leadership profile.
- Manage the production of the monthly staff newsletter – collaborate with various departments for content creation and development.
- Manage internal and external communications.
- Assist in executing cross functional projects such as the career fair, alumni exhibitions, graduation ceremonies, etc.
- Manage the end-to-end production process of branded collaterals – procurement, production, reconciliation, and stock management.
- Manage publications store– stock management, retrieval, order management
- Proofread and edit all communication materials.
- Monitor news about and related to the school in the media.
- Develop creative communication and marketing materials – presentations, brochures, profiles etc.
- Develop and execute marketing communication campaigns to grow top of mind awareness, build brand equity and generate leads.
- Monitor all marketing activities, deriving key insights into performance, reporting on learning outcomes and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the creative team in the development of all creative materials. Monitor for quality and accuracy of content.
- Perform monthly audit on outgoing correspondence.
- Manage relationships with and prepare payments for vendors; keep records of all payments made.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- Professional Qualification is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Should have 3 – 5 years' experience in integrated marketing communications.

- The Research Manager will coordinate and manage LBS externally funded research, implement proactive administrative and operational strategies aimed at securing funding for the institutions research projects and advise on regulations and policies on research funding.

Essential Duties / Key Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify prospective funding sources, new funding initiatives and support for current research projects.
- Maintain liaison and effective communication and build beneficial relationship with individuals and organizations at various levels across the research community.
- Manage application for external research grant including proposal development, budgeting, completion of proposal forms, progress report submission, expenditure reconciliation, research compliance requirements, subcontracts, renewals, exit and sponsors term and conditions.
- Develop and facilitate workshops, meetings or conferences that enhance research funding opportunities and profile.
- Prepare substantive administrative reports and documents. Manage varying voluminous caseload of complex assignments and projects from multiple sponsors requiring deadlines and timely submissions.
- Represent the unit in committees and relevant university meetings.
- Provide supervision, guidance and support to direct reports
- Oversee that institutions research outputs and academic publications are on the university website, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Liaising with funding bodies on their procedures, regulations, terms and condition to ensure these are adhered to in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide technical support to the Research Director in strategic planning and implementation of policies and procedures to promote research activities in the faculty.
- Identify prospective participants and coordinate development of faculty interdisciplinary research teams and proposals.
- Any other specific or adhoc duty to be assigned by line manager from time to time.
- Manage the performance of Research Assistants
Key Performance Indicators:
- Number of new research funding and grant opportunities secured
- Level of awareness on the institutions research profile and capabilities within the academic and research community.
- Accuracy in budgeting and efficiency in financial management of research projects
- Efficiency in managing LBS case catalogue and ECCH case registration process.
- Rate of rejection of research proposals based on non-adherence to donor criteria.
- Feedback from customers internal and external
- Valuation of relationships established with donor agencies

Qualifications
- Good First Degree in Social or Management Sciences.
Professional Qualification:
- An MBA or MSc is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years in managerial position with research and supervisory skills. Experience gained in higher education or reputable organization with interest in funding research projects will be an advantage.
