Job Title: Vendor Relationship Management Officer

Responsibilities
- Negotiate contract agreements for products and services.
- Assess contractor performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts.
- Prepare and edit contracts between the company and potential clients.
- Research regulations to guarantee contracts are updated and in compliance with laws.
- Coordinate with clients to guarantee terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations.
- Manage communication with vendors
- Handle breach of contracts in a timely manner.
- Serve as the main liaison with outside contracting representatives.
- Develop and implement effective procurement proposals.
Quality Control / Training:
- Ensure all vendors have the required certifications
- Carry out periodic checks to ensure that all contractors meet HSE standards
- Liaise with CEA and Engineering to design appropriate customer experience training for the FTTH contractors

Safety, Quality and Environment:
- Ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, contractors and quality of product/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
- Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures Management:
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and directives so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Qualifications & Skills
- University Degree or Higher National Diploma in Management Sciences
- Post Graduate Degree (MBA, M.Sc., etc.) an added advantage
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role in Supply Chain Management
- In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract documents, and legal specifications.
- Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to resolve client complaints and concerns.
- Sound understanding and experience in Procurement & Logistics/Supply
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
