JUST IN: Gunmen Assassinate KADGIS Director, Dauda, In Kaduna

Unknown gunmen in the early hours of Friday assassinated the Director of Operations, Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), Malam Dauda.

The gunmen numbering about five breached the security of the victim’s house located in Barakallahu community in Igabi Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that the gunmen went inside the room and shot him dead.

According to sources, the gunmen only murdered the KADGIS director and left without taking any of his cars and other valuables.

Ezenwoko’s Blog understands that the gunmen also attacked a community nearby without killing or injuring anyone.

Confirming the attack, the District Head of the community, Alhaji Muhammad Abdullahi, said the Divisional Police Officers of Rigachikun and Barnawa, who are residents of the community, have visited the scene of the crime.

He told Daily Post that the gunmen only went to the victim’s house, killed him and left the community.

Abdullahi said they did not take anything in his house neither did they attack the guard and his wife.

He added that even in the other village that was attacked, no life was lost, they just caused commotion and left, adding that they just did that to make it look like an attack.
