Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1998, Anthony Ezenwoko has built an illustrious career rooted in service, leadership, and an unshakable commitment to the legal profession. A Chartered Mediator and Conciliator, and a member of both the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and the National Peace Institute, he embodies excellence in practice and purpose. More than a lawyer, Anthony Ezenwoko is a mentor at heart.
With a burning passion to see young lawyers thrive, he founded Legal Minds Mentorship Initiatives—a novel platform within the legal profession dedicated to guiding the next generation toward purposeful, successful careers. Under his leadership, the Initiative has become a beacon of hope, providing mentorship, training, and networking opportunities that equip young lawyers with the tools to excel in a rapidly evolving profession.
His service to the Bar, especially through the NBA Port Harcourt Branch, spans over a decade of leadership roles—ranging from Chairmanship of the Justice Sector Monitoring Committee and Continuing Legal Education Committee, to critical positions within disciplinary, reform, and finance committees. Beyond the Bar, he has also served at the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture as Chairman and Legal Adviser in the Directorate of Advocacy, Ethics, and Legal Matters (2012–2015).
In private practice, Anthony Ezenwoko has honed his craft with leading law firms—including J.L.D. Dagogo & Co., J.E. Duncan & Associates, and Allagoa & Allagoa (Solicitors)—before establishing Renewal Chambers, which he manages to date.Through Legal Minds Mentorship Initiatives, Anthony Ezenwoko is charting a new course in legal mentorship—bridging the gap between aspiration and achievement, and inspiring young lawyers to not only succeed but to lead with vision, character, and impact.
As the Initiative hosts its upcoming webinar, “Laying the Foundation: Building a Purposeful Career,” we invite young lawyers across Nigeria to join in this journey of growth and transformation.
